학부모님들께 안녕하세요? 저희 뉴저지한국학교는 저희 학생들의 끊임없는 잠재력을 개발하고 또 한국어교육을 위해 매 학기마다 다양한 프로그램으로 최선을 다하고 있습니다. 더 나아가서는 우리 자녀들이 한국계 미국인으로서 정체성을 확립하게 해주며 또 정상을 향해 나아가는 미국사회의 지도자로 커 갈 수 있도록 자긍심을 키워주는 교육을 목표로 모두 한 마음으로 임하고 있습니다. 저희 학교의 자랑인 교사회는 여러분의 자녀들을 사랑과 관심으로 교육하고 지도하며 늘 학생들의 한국어 실력 향상을 위해 다양한 교수방법을 연구하고 개발하고 있습니다. 학생들의 재능과 장.단점을 잘 이해가고 함께 개발하고 보완하며 학생들 개개인의 실력향상을 위하여 21세기에 맞는 교재개발과 수업을 하고 있습니다. 지난 2020년 3월 중순에 코비드19으로 모든 학교들이 휴교를 하게 되면서 저희학교는 대면수업에서 바로 비대면으로 수업을 전환하여 3월 21일부터 수업을 시작했습니다. 2021년 봄학기까지는 virtual 수업으로 진행을 했었고 2021 가을학기부터 토요반은 대면수업으로 금요반은 온라인으로 수업을 하고 있습니다. 저희 학교는 학부모님들과의 소통을 위해 늘 열려있습니다. 궁금하신 점이나 건의 할 사항이 있으면 이메일이나 전화로 연락주시기 바랍니다. 학교의 모든 행사와 프로그램은 각 학급의 구글 클래스룸에서 2022년 봄학기 학사예정표로 확인 해주십시오. 또 학교 홈페이지의 학사예정표에서 보실 수 있습니다. 뉴저지한국학교 어린이합창단에서는 전문적으로 동요를 지도하고 커뮤니티의 많은 행사에서 공연을 하고 있습니다. 학생들에게 소질을 계발 할 기회도 주고 뜻 있는 봉사 활동을 통해 정체성을 확립하도록 하고 있습니다. 2020년과 2021년 봄학기까지는 코비드로 인해 대면연습을 하지 못했지만 온라인으로 음원을 만들고 매주 온라인 합창 수업을 해 왔습니다. 2022년 부터는 대면으로 연습을 하고 작은 콘서트도 가졌습니다. 학생들은 금요 온라인 수업 또는 토요 대면수업 중에 원하는 수업을 선택 할 수 있습니다. 이번 2월 19일 Tenafly 중학교에서 금요반 학생들을 위해 Drive through로 교과서와 학습재료를 배부합니다. 토요반은 (Tenafly) 2월 26일 대면수업으로 개강을 하고 2월 25일은 금요반이 온라인으로 개강을 합니다. 곧 뵙겠습니다.. 교장 황 현주 드림 Welcome to the Korean School of New Jersey! Covid-19 has necessitated many changes for all of us. Please know that we will do everything possible to maintain a safe learning environment for your children. This includes providing parents with options for both encompasses in-person on Saturday and fully remote learning on Friday. Textbooks and class material for the Friday class will be distributed at Tenafly Middle School campus on February 19th from 10-11:30 am. It will be a great opportunity to meet your child’s teacher.
